Het begon in de jaren '80 op de Amsterdamse Noordermarkt, waar oprichters Ann Berlips en George Cramer hun mooiste vintage vondsten verkochten. Inmiddels is King Louie uitgegroeid tot een onafhankelijk, internationaal merk met kleding die vrouwen goed doet voelen.
