Transparency
At King Louie, we believe transparency in our production chain is incredibly important. Because only when you know where your clothes come from and who makes them can you truly take steps toward a fair and sustainable supply chain.
That’s why we’re happy to show you who we work with.
We consciously choose to limit the number of production countries. For example, 43% of our collection is produced in Turkey and 57% in China. We also believe in long-term partnerships. We’ve been working with one of our biggest suppliers for over 20 years now. This ensures continuity, trust, and mutual growth.
Together, we work towards good working conditions, high-quality products, and continuous improvements in sustainability. Our suppliers are regularly monitored through organizations like Amfori BSCI.
"We believe in long-term collaborations."
Looking beyond Tier 1
With the help of the Retraced platform, we’re mapping the entire supply chain—from raw material to finished product. We’re happy to show you more than just the final step of the production process.
Retraced
Since 2022, we’ve been using Retraced to digitally trace these steps. The system helps us identify risks in the supply chain more quickly and also makes the production process visible to you, the consumer.
Suteks & Equal rights
Our supplier Suteks from Turkey is an inspiring company whose owner Nur Ger is strongly committed to equal rights for women. The company has a number of awards to its name, including Best Social Gender Equality in Work Life 2012. As of 2013, the company has been included in the Honorary List by United Nations Women Empowerment Principles (UN WEP).
Orimpex & Organic Certification
Orimpex is a supplier of our sustainable jerseys. The Dutch-Turkish company specializes in the production of clothing made from organic cotton and bamboo. They produce in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way without using chemicals that pollute nature and groundwater, or harm the health of the cotton farmers.
Orimpex is certified by the Control Union for Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Organic Exchange 100 Standard (OE100) and Organic Exchange Blended Standard. All of their suppliers for organic fabrics, prints and embroidery are carefully selected and also GOTS-certified.
