1. PERSONAL DATA

WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA?

Statistical data, which we collect, for example, when visiting our online shop and which cannot be directly related to your person, are not covered here. For example, these are statistics about which pages of our shop are particularly popular or how many users visit certain pages of the King Louie webshop.


CUSTOMER ACCOUNT
We set up a password-protected direct access to stored data (customer account) for each customer who registers accordingly. Here you can view and manage data about your completed, open and recently sent orders. You agree to treat your personal access data as confidential and not to make it accessible to unauthorized third parties. We cannot accept any liability for the abuse of passwords. Unless you log out, you will automatically be logged in. This feature allows you to use some of our services (such as, ‘My King Louie') without logging in again each time.


WHEN DO WE USE, TRANSFER AND PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Handling and protecting your data is of utmost importance. To ensure the protection of your data, we strictly adhere to the legal provisions in the collection, use and processing of data.

We need and use your personal data in the following cases:
- Registration of your customer account
- Ordering, payment and delivery of goods and when we inform you about this
- Participation in contests
- Contacting our customer service
- Subscribing to the newsletter (only if you give your consent)

RIGHTS

We will give you information about data stored about your person or pseudonym on request. Please send a message to webshop@kinglouie.nl. Likewise, we are obliged to correct, block or delete the data stored about you on your request.


ORDER PROCESSING
We store personal data primarily for optimal order processing. Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise transferred if this is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract, billing or if you have previously consented. For example, as part of order processing, the service providers we use (such as transport, logistics, payment service) receive the necessary data for shipment and order processing. This data may only be used by our service providers, to fulfill their specific tasks. Any other use of this data is not permitted and does not occur with any of the service providers entrusted by us.


CONTACT FORM
If you contact us via the contact form, your name and email address are saved. If you are logged into your King Louie account at the time, we will also collect your customer number. In addition, your browser version is sent to us via your browser.
This data is only used to meet your request, and for additional technical administration. Your data is not passed on to third parties. To help you with any possible follow-up questions in the future, we save the data of your request for two years. After that, the data will be deleted. If you object to the storage of your data in this context, we will delete the data sent to us via the contact form.
How long is personal data stored?
We store your personal data in your account and your order history no longer than necessary and no longer than permitted by the law. E-mail correspondence with our customer service, including sweepstakes, is automatically deleted after two years. You remain in our newsletter mailing list until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time.

Google AdWords with remarketing function

Facebook Retargeting
A pixel from Facebook Ireland Limited is integrated into this website. This pixel collects information about the use of this website (e.g. information about viewed articles) by Facebook Ireland Limited. This information can be linked to you personally with the help of further information that Facebook Ireland Limited saved about you through your Facebook account. On the basis of the information collected via the pixel, interest-based advertisements for our offers can be displayed in your Facebook account (retargeting). 3. WEB ANALYSIS

GOOGLE ANALYTICS
For the statistical evaluation of the use of our website we use Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Data collected by cookies is used to analyze and improve the use of our online shop. Google Analytics does not collect personally identifiable information from you and we do not share it with Google. You remain completely anonymous. Your IP address is recorded in a shortened version, which makes tracing impossible. How this process works in detail, you can read here: support.google.com/analytics/answer/2763052. The collected data is automatically deleted after 14 months from all Analytics servers. This is the shortest possible period. Site operators have the option of infinitely saving data in Google Analytics. We deliberately chose the shortest period because we take responsibility for your data. 
You can prevent Google Analytics from using your data by installing a browser plug-in. The plugin can be found via this link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.


LOG FILES
Each time you access a page on the King Louie website, usage data is transmitted through the internet browser and stored in log files, the so-called server log files. These records are used to improve site content and to solve technical problems more quickly. They contain the following data: date and time, page name, IP address, referrer URL (the URL you came from), city, the amount of data transferred, as well as product and version information of the browser used. This data is deleted once a day and not linked to our customer database.

4. PAYMENT PROCESSING

We do not process payments directly. Payments are proccessed by Payment Service Provider (PSP) MultiSafepay B.V., Kraanspoor 39, 1033SC Amsterdam.

CREDIT CARD, PAYPAL, MAESTRO, IDEAL, MR. CASH, SOFORTBANKING
We do not have access to your credit card information at any time. Payment by credit card is via MultiSafepay. The entered credit card details are received directly and encrypted by MultiSafepay. MultiSafepay is PCI DSS certified and meets the strictest requirements for the secure handling and storage of credit card information. Payments via PayPal, and payment in advance are handled by the payment service provider MultiSafepay. There is no payment information on our servers.


PAY AFTERWARDS WITH AFTERPAY
Payments on account will be made via AfterPay. Arvato Finance BV acts on behalf of AfterPay., registered in Heerenveen (hereinafter referred to as 'AfterPay'), registered in the Trade Register under number 08203350. If you decide to pay on account, you agree that AfterPay will use the necessary personal data for the processing of your purchase as well as an identity and credit check. This can include data such as first and last name, address, date of birth, gender, e-mail address and telephone number. 5. NEWSLETTER
In the King Louie Newsletter you will find inspiration and information about new items, sale offers, and promotions. Information about your registration, sending newsletters and statistical evaluations can be found in our privacy policy. Unsubscribing from our newsletter is possible at any time.


CONTENT OF THE NEWSLETTER
We only send newsletters with the consent of the recipient or a legal permission. In our newsletter you will find information on new items and collections, outfit inspiration, sale offers and other activities such as give-aways or personal vouchers. We send the newsletter a maximum of four times a week.


USE OF THE NEWSLETTER SERVICE "VOYADO"
The newsletter is distributed via "Voyado", an email marketing service of the Voyado AB, reg. no. 556787‑0208, en Voyado Lund AB, reg, no. 556588-5240.
The e-mail addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as other information described in this privacy statement, are stored on the servers of Voyado in the USA. Voyado uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. Furthermore, Voyado may, according to its own information, use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the sending and presentation of the newsletter or for economic purposes, to determine from which countries the recipients are. However, Voyado does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to correspond with them or to pass it on to third parties.

We rely on the reliability, IT and data security of Voyado.  Furthermore, we have concluded a data processing agreement with Voyado. This is a contract in which Voyado guarantees to protect the data of our users, to process it in accordance with its privacy policy on our behalf and, in particular, not to disclose it to third parties. CREDENTIALS AND OTHER INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR CUSTOMER ACCOUNT
To subscribe to the newsletter, it is sufficient to enter your e-mail address.m In our newsletter popup we also ask you for your name and date of birth. If you sign up for the newsletter when registering your account or completing an order, additional information such as address, date of birth and order date will be sent to Voyado. We use this information to adjust the content of the newsletter to the interests of our readers.
By signing up for the newsletter, you agree that we may use the information you provide and other information stored on your customer account, as well as pseudonymised usage data, to provide you with personalized advertising and/or special offers and services.


STATISTICS AND ANALYSIS
The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the Voyado server when the newsletter is opened. This file will initially collect technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval. This information is used to improve the technical performance of services based on their specifications or audience and their reading habits, based on their locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or access times.
Collected statistics also include determining if newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our nor Voyado’s desire to observe individual users. The evaluations help us to recognize the reading habits of our users and adapt our content to them. This way we can send different content based on the interests of our users.


ONLINE LINKING AND DATA MANAGEMENT
There are cases in which we direct the newsletter recipients to the Voyado website. For example, our newsletters contain a link that allows newsletter recipients to view newsletters online (for example, in the case of display problems in the e-mail program). Furthermore, newsletter recipients can store their data, such as a corrected e-mail address, later. The privacy policy of Voyado is only available on their website.
In this context, we would like to point out that cookies are used on the website of Voyado. Thus, personal data of newsletter recipients is processed by Voyado, their partners and service providers (for example, Google Analytics). We have no influence on this data collection. Sharing data with social networks and other third parties (Google, Facebook, Instagram)
When running advertisements via the advertising formats of social networks (such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram), we can transmit email addresses in encrypted form to the respective social network. This is done with the aim of making advertisements as relevant and personal as possible for the user.
In this context, the respective social network - in our capacity as client - will decrypt the data transmitted by us and, if the user (provided a member of the respective social network) is associated with the respective social network, display the advertisements booked by us.
By subscribing to our newsletter via the Voyado mailing service, you agree to sharing your email address with social networks. This sharing is of course always encrypted and in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
If you do not wish to receive personalized advertisements via social networks, you can send an email to onlineshop@kinglouie.eu. We will then block your data from being shared.


TERMINATION / WITHDRAWAL
You can end the subscription of the King Louie newsletter at any time. This means, you withdraw your given permission. This will, at the same time, invalidate your permission to send newsletters via Voyado as a statistical analysis by Voyado. The permissions for sending via Voyado and making statistical analysis can not be withdrawn separately.
A link to end the newsletter subscription can be found at the end of each newsletter. After unsubscribing, your data will be deleted within 14 days.

6. SECURE DATA TRANSFER
Your personal data is securely transmitted over an encrypted connection. This applies to your order and customer login. For this we use the coding system SSL (Secure Socket Layer). Furthermore, we secure our websites and other systems with technical and organizational measures against the loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons.
