Upcycled & United
One of a kind, just like you.
In the fashion industry, unsold clothing often ends up gathering dust in warehouses. We call this ‘deadstock’. Together with The Circle Club, we’ve been tackling this challenge since 2025: how can we give these leftover items a new life?
We found our solution in upcycling: a creative process that breathes new life into leftover garments.
These one-of-a-kind, limited-edition bags are made in Amsterdam, in the inspiring environment of Makers Unite. Here, talented newcomers and local makers work side by side on sustainable products. Both people and materials are given a new lease of life here
How we move forward together:
- Makers Unite reuses our deadstock to create something new, drawing from years of expertise in upcycling;
- Together, we connect newcomers in the Netherlands with the creative textile sector through sustainable production and talent development;
- By carrying out production in Amsterdam, we strengthen a local, inclusive production model.
A previous collaboration — with Studio Meike Nieuwenhuis — demonstrated how waste materials and deadstock are given a new lease of life through creative upcycling design. Now we’re scaling up: 75 one-of-a-kind, limited-edition shoppers.
